My wife Mary Jo and I finished our raft trip yesterday
and I wanted to make some comments about our experience
while they are fresh in our memory. We had an absolutely
wonderful time, greatly enjoying the river and
the scenic beauty. It would be difficult not to.
However, what made the trip special was your special
group of guides. You are truly blessed with a group of people
who not only can guide you through rapids and make
you a delicious meal but have delightful personalities
and the interpersonal skills that enable you to enjoy them.
They went out of their way to do whatever necessary
to make the trip fun and always did it with a
smile on their face. They dealt with the older people
and the little kids with skill and patience.
They interacted with all the guests and sat amongst us
and talked when I am sure they would have rather been
resting or spending time amongst themselves.
Getting to know them was one of the highlights of the trip,
if not the highlight of the trip for me. We have been on
several prior trips with another outfitter that were
all great and I was really hesitant about how this would
compare but it surpassed all our expectations
and then some, and this was due to Ben, J.J., Dave, Marji,
Franny, Sam, Brendan and P.J. THEY are the unique
resource of MFRT and you should cherish them.
You are indeed fortunate to have such a fine group of warm, wonderful,hardworking individuals working for you.
